Hello, lovely reader!
I hope you and those you love are happy, safe, and well. I'm praying for God's peace and love to rest on the world, and on you, too.
It’s been a more challenging week than I expected here. Hubby has loved his time in Bulgaria, but he’s needed my phone assistance with a few little issues so I think we’ve spoken to each other even more than usual each day while he’s away. That’s okay, I like talking to him, though it did mess with my hopes for peace and quiet and my writing intentions! He isn’t thrilled to have returned to the UK last night, though he’s happy to see me and the cat mob again (I hope!).
Sadly, Mum has been back in the hospital since Saturday, in a difficult inbetween stage where she’s not quite well enough for active treatment of her complicated health issues, but not quite at the stage where she’s ready to choose palliative care and give up on any active treatment, either. She’s facing some tough decisions. I’d love for you to pray for her, and for my sister who cares for her so beautifully. Thanks so much!
And on to the book news — lots of lovely free clean and Christian romance ebooks!
Over 175 FREE clean romances to choose from!
Download as many ebooks as you want in this huge group promo, featuring free clean romances! The site is live until Sunday only. There are some wonderful books here, and you’re sure to find some lovely reads at no cost to you! I can see that my TBR library is going to grow considerably this weekend!
Some books are Amazon only, but many are available across a range of retailers. Though the organiser specified that all books should be genuinely clean, I can’t say for sure every book is, so please choose carefully!
I’ve highlighted some books from close friends below. Though all the books I’ll mention are Christian, they’ve been tucked away in different sections.
Stand Out by Rose Fresquez is in the Small Town Romance section of the promo, or can be found by clicking on the image above.
Alexa Verde’s Seaside Cowboy’s Marriage of Convenience is in the Contemporary Romance section of the promo, or can be found by clicking the image.
Another dear friend, Jan Thompson, has a book, Love You Always, in the Romantic Suspense section.
And yes, I have a book in the promo, too!
Cherish Me is a turning-40, reluctant-return-home, high school sweethearts reunion romance! It’s in the Christian Romance section and will be free on Amazon almost everywhere to May 12.
I’ve also reduced Chapel Cove Romances, my five-book set containing all my stories in this multi-author series, to 99c in the US and UK until May 14. You can find out more about both books here, on my website!
Pet news
I have another reader’s pet to share this week, DeeAnn’s adorable little dog!
DeeAnn says, “This is my sweet girl, Freckles, She just celebrated her fourteenth birthday. She’s a Pomeranian Chihuahua mix, but she takes after her Pomeranian dad.”
What a cutie! Do you have a pet or other critter you'd like to see featured in my newsletter? Wild visitors to your place are welcome, too. Just reply to this email with a photo or two, some information, and add that you give me permission to share with my readers. I'd love to show off your pet!
This week's randomly chosen ebook winners are Paula, Sarah, Dee, Lily, and Agnes. If your first name or the name in your email address matches one of the winners' names in the list above, reply letting me know which of my solo ebooks (sorry, sets are not included) you'd like as a free Bookfunnel download. You can see them all here. His Tender Mercy and Heart in Hiding aren't yet released, so if you opt for one of these, you'll be added to a wait list and get a copy when your choice is finally reader-ready.
This week's give.away — five subscribers who click any link in this email by Sunday, May 11, 2025 will be randomly chosen to win their choice of my ebooks and will be named in next week's newsletter.
Until next week, I'm praying you and those you love are happy and healthy, with many precious moments of peace and joy to brighten your days.
Blessings, and happy reading,
Praying for your Mom and you and sister, glad hubby made it back to UK safely.
